Blurb
Jacqueline Ryan's love belongs to only one man, Michele Ranieri, who left her with a broken heart. Five years later he's back, and she's determined to lay old feelings to rest. She wants closure on something she thinks is puppy love. But when she confronts him it escalates into full-blown love.

Michele Ranieri has always reserved a special place in his heart for Jacqueline. When stranded on a deserted island with her and having amnesia, he questions why they weren't more than friends.

A kiss in a freshwater stream has her reassessing her situation. Finding temptation at close range impossible to refuse, she forgets about her life back home. But when Jacqueline is lost during a storm, when Michele's memory returns, and when rescue forces reality back into their lives, will their love be lost forever?

Excerpt
Commanding chest muscles loomed over her, startling her with a sudden leap of desire as it skimmed through her heart. Her eyes traced tiny droplets of water, falling freely from his dark tousled hair, meandering seductively down the front of his chest. Small pinpricks rushed over the entire surface of her body the very moment his warm breath feathered her cheek.
     "Michele…we shouldn't, um…"
"If you explain why we shouldn't, perhaps I might reconsider," he murmured.
The corner of his mouth contacted hers, prompting her to draw in a sharp gasp. He continued to move his lips in tantalizing, shattering little nips over hers. She tried to calm the erratic beat of her heart, but found it impossible. A small murmur of objection escaped her throat, but it was much too late.
Her tongue drew an imaginary line within his top lip, while her body leapt into emotional overload. It tilted off its axis, charging with need, with love. His large hands moved to her waist and he drew her gently against him.
Automatically, her hands wound around his neck and she yielded to his mesmerism. She closed her eyes as a sweet ache filled her stomach.
     Her responsiveness grew.
The kiss deepened, they clung to each other in hunger, in desperation, and their breathlessness soared. She felt him hard against her stomach, and couldn't put a halt to the electrifying speed of desire swamping her soul.
The warmth of his lips intensified into a hot spray of fiery passion. She absorbed his mouth-watering taste, stimulating every single feminine cell she held. His tongue dipped inside her mouth, and she knew she'd fall if he weren't propping her upright.
She always dreamt of feeling his lips over hers, of their first kiss. But nothing prepared her for the intoxicating crush she was experiencing at that moment. Her mind circled faster than any theme park ride. She heard him moan, felt his muscles tense under her fingertips as she raked them over the sides of his neck, down over his shoulders. The splintering contact of his hands caressed her back, only to roam downward toward the curve of her bottom. Little shudders of pleasure stimulated every inch of her being.
Her mind dived into an entire pool of fantasy; her heart high jumped, weakening every single nerve. And, when he drew breath from under the kiss, she panicked. She didn't want it to stop!
Eagerly she swallowed his lips as the craze inside her boiled, impelling her actions further and quicker than her mind ever thought possible. She clung to a desperate need to experience their first kiss, and in fact, probably their last kiss.
Although the word wrong screeched from within, she struggled and cursed it, ordering it to disappear. A yearning had dragged in her heart for far too long. Now, just this once she wanted this moment, this only moment to carry it in her heart for the rest of her life.
